Time heals, as Prize said. But you need to do stuff to fill up this Time!

Lots of people will tell you to do this and you might already be royally fed up with that advice, but do whatever makes you feel better. Cook or bake some new recipe that seems interesting and invite some friends. Go out with people that will let you vent all you want and listen to you. Work out! Pick up a hobby and put effort into it. Or release everything through any artistic medium.
Don't feel like going out and you just want to curl up in bed and cry? Get up, sit in front of your computer and make a HUGE playlist of sad sappy songs to cry your eyes out. There are chances you will digress from your search and think of something else entirely. If you do end up making that huge list, get comfy (plenty of water and tissues) and start the emotion cleansing.
BUT. And I'm serious, here. Don't dwell on it for too long. It's ok to feel miserable and to let it all out but give yourself some time limit or something. Just so you don't spiral down, ya know? It's gonna take a while before you stop the instant cry at any good memories, but you also need to put effort in it. Not saying "Oh, I shouldn't be crying AGAIN" but more like "Alright, 15 minutes of self-pity, 20 minutes of recuperation and then I'll calm down".
Also, surround yourself with positive vibes as much as you can. It helps a lot! Even bright colours can help alleviate the sadness a bit. And of course, come and vent on VL all you want. ;)

All that being said, I'll let you know that I'm still healing from my own breakup. It's almost been a year now, but I'm much much better than I was before. I know I should be meeting other people and work towards finding another significant other as that can help but I just can't be bovvered right now. Maybe later, who knows? :D

Ah. Avoid rebounds and exes. As much as you can. o_o I guess that's why Prize told you to not see N, huh?
