I'm allergic and I just don't enjoy cats. I don't mind kittens but the full grown cat does not interest me. You make an excellent case and I fully understand it. I am just not a cat person. Some people just don't love cats, some love both, and some just love dogs and I am one of those. When I look for a pet I like it to be dependent on me. Sorry to disappoint, but alas we humans often do. That's why we have pets!
