Is it weird that as as girl, If I have a boyfriend, I only want to be listed as 'Single' on facebook unless the relationship is serious. Even then I kind of feel warry about the whole 'In a Relationship' thing. I havn't had a boyfriend since getting a facebook, so I haven't had to deal with this. I find it annoying when I read people's statuses as 'In a Relationship with ****' Is it incentive for me to tell a future boyfriend that I don't want to be listed as 'In a Relationship' right away?

It's not weird, you want options, I mean it takes what 3 seconds to change the status- it's not really a big deal people blow that shit out of proportion. Mine says I am in a relationship and I like it. It wards off annoying inquests. To each their own. You should do what makes you comfortable but be prepared for you future boyfriends to receive little pokes and notes and whatever's from girls who think he is single and be at ease with it.

My mom had something that could turn into breast cancer, and recently had a double mastectomy to prevent it from becoming cancer. Two of my Aunts on my mothers side and my mother's aunt have all had breast cancer. I'm only 19, but I'm worried about it happening to me someday. I talked to her doctor, and she said that she's seen a surprising number of 20somethings have the exact same surgery for the same reason, she said it in a way that sounded like she thought it was a good idea for me to have the surgery. Her doctor is a pessimist by nature, but it still scared the shit out of me. It irrational to be worried about having to go through that same surgery because of the high risk in my family? Sometimes I find it hard to sleep at night because of it...

I am very sorry to hear about the situation with your mother and relatives. It is never easy to have those you love become sick in any way.

Even though you have a high probability that you will get breast cancer at some point in your life, I do not think that you should go through with the elected surgery when you can have preventative healthcare that can catch any anomalies found in your breast tissue - such as regular mammograms.

So no, I do not think you should go through with the elective surgery. If you get breast cancer you will have to go through with the procedure, but if you do not get breast cancer then you will not have to put your body through an unnecessary surgery..

Some breast cancers are very treatable and do not require a full mastectomy, such as a lumpectomy.

Even though you are genetically predisposed to have a higher chance of getting breast cancer, it does not mean you will get it.

how do you know a guy is about to break up with you? I'm not in that situation(i.e. single), Just for future reference I'd like to know. The last time a guy broke up with me I was completely blind sighted, and I had no idea it was coming because everything seemed fine.

At my new job there is this girl who I instantly hit it off with, she is fun, hilarious, and beautiful. I thought things were going so well and I thought she seemed into me, but working a little longer at the job I found out she is a lesbian. (Not just heard, it was confirmed by her.) I was crushed.. When a girl says she is a lesbian is that 100%? Is there any chance I have a shot?
